When we ignore our own needs for the sake of pleasing others, we are chipping away tiny parts of ourselves.
Our needs matter, our wants matter, we were not put on this earth to give until we have nothing left for ourselves.
If you feel tense, resentful, irritable, reactive and unfulfilled, this is usually a pretty good sign that you are not meeting your own needs somewhere.
A really good start to changing these feelings is to just take a few mins each day to connect to your breath and feel into what you may need that day to find your own calm and your own happy place.
It doesn’t need to be complicated or overwhelming to make changes in our behaviour, simple tools that you can implement each day to feel calmer, less resentful, more fulfilled and genuinely happier and more content.
I would absolutely go as far as to say, learning these tools are life changing
